Woops.

I feel bad for not blogging for awhile (was it one day, or two??). Anyways, I am now back and am now the happy owner of one hookah and co-possessor of another. I own a nice black and silver one named Lazarus, and co-own a blue one named Bullshiticus. I was long overdue for an emotional breakdown, and the morning after, me and my partners in religious crime ran into town to purchase our very own hookahs. However, my crippling allergies kicking in this week due to impending spring, combined with our over excitement at our new possessions, we ended up smoking 4 rounds of sheesha (tobacco soaked in flavored molasses). Not a good idea. All of us (especially myself, what with mucus rattling in my chest) woke up with rather raspy voices. Me and my lovely woman crush went to see our schools production of Hairspray, which did not disappoint in the slightest. Now, I'm off to get some much needed sleep, and I will make a better effort to write daily. I leave you with these lively pictures of Lazarus and Bullshiticus. Stay awesome.

Housing in College

If you ever find yourself thinking, "hey! I'd like to go to campus housing and get something productive done! Like maybe fixing some problems with my lease for next semester!" Stop there, have some chocolate, and laugh at yourself for thinking it will work. *le sigh* After weeks of battling with housing, I'm finally moving apartments next semester. Downside? They're now trying to charge me an extra $175 to start a new lease. How about no? Good grief, college.
Moral of the story? It's still illegal to punch a secretary, but busting in there and kindly asking to speak to the manager because of lack of correspondence tends to get things done quickly. Stay awesome.

Introduction

Welcome intellects and tricksters if the Internet! My name is Kate, and I am a college student in central Louisiana. I attend the honors college on campus (Scholars') and am a newly  converted buddhist. I'm using this blog as an outlet for my ongoing battle with anxiety. My friends have named me the angry buddhist because of my battle to be a good one, and hopefully my daily adventures through college can help others too. Hope to see some readers, stay awesome. :)
